Head chef Scott Thomas and the kitchen team at the Plough Hotel have put together a menu of porky goodness using Western Plains pigs. Using all the tools at their disposal, the chefs will be taking inspiration from each of their cultural backgrounds. Think earth baked shoulders, sliders, homemade Italian sausages, crispy belly, cheeky Basque croquettes and piggy paratha all served alongside delicious summer `slaws and salads. West City Brewers and Shadowfax wines will be providing the lubrication, all set to the soundtrack of local bands Sweet Jean and legend Jim Lawrie. And bring the kids: this event is all about raising funds for Footscray Primary and Footscray West Primary and having a fun family festival.
